Jeff Albers is the chief executive officer of [Blueprint Medicines](https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/blueprint-medicines), a company engaged in the discovery and development of highly selective kinase inhibitors for genomically defined cancer subsets. He was previously the president of Algeta.

Prior to Algeta, he served at Genzyme, where he spent seven years in senior commercial and corporate development positions. Before joining Genzyme, he spent five years as an Attorney at the law firm Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky & Popeo. He also has prior experience as a sales representative for Pfizer.

Albers holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Indiana University and an MBA from Georgetown University.
