Jeff Adams joined Advent International in 2013 as part of the Portfolio Support team.

Jeff has 24 years of experience as a strategic and operational leader with blue-chip companies including GE, Danaher and Smith & Nephew. He has deep expertise in global end-to-end supply chain, business management, strategic procurement and acquisition integrations. As a member of these executive management teams, he focused on driving sustainable change by designing long-term strategic plans backed by short-term action plans and metrics. He also played a primary role in turning around problem operations, led the integration of numerous acquisitions and directed plant operations throughout Europe, China, Thailand, Mexico, Brazil and India.

Most recently, Jeff was Senior Vice President of Global Operations at Smith & Nephew Corporation, a $4+ billion global medical technology company, where he directed all manufacturing, distribution, procurement, sustainability, facilities management and quality departments. In this role, he transformed Smith & Nephew’s operations by leading the corporation through full Lean implementation across all manufacturing and distribution sites, developing a strategic procurement organization, optimizing the manufacturing footprint by closing four high-cost facilities and building two new facilities in China, and implementing a sustainability strategy. These efforts delivered over $250 million of savings.
