Jean-Claude Leveque is a graduate of the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales and holds a 3rd degree in international finance from the University of Paris Dauphine. He began his career in banking in the direction of CIC financial affairs from 1982 to 1985 before joining the CCF where he has participated in the establishment of the first venture capital fund.

From 1986 to 1990, Jean-Claude Leveque jointly managed a private equity fund established by AGF and Crédit Mutuel network.

He joined in 1990 Innovacom capital firm France Telecom Group's risk as investment director where he participated in the creation of many "successstories» French: Decan, Arche Communications, Business Objects, Vision Numeric, Coheris ... From 1998 to 2004, Jean-Claude Leveque was associate director of development Dassault then co-founded Capital LC, a management company specializing in technology investment that joined the group in 2012 PhiTrust.


Jean-Claude Leveque moderated the working committee "Innovation and New Technologies" within the AFIC 2002 to 2006 and participated in the work of the scientific commission "research platform" in the Senate from 2003 to 2006. He is also secretary General of the Association for the Development of Research in Vascular Biology and Cell which funds academic research.
