Iñigo Merchán is a Security Architect at BBVA. He has a wide background in security starting from the development of security appliances and continuing with by IT Security, Ethical Hacking and Threat Intelligence.

Having different hats gave him a deep understanding of the different issues within the interaction of all security areas. Nowadays he combines this knowledge with his Open Source enthusiasm in order to adapt the ways in which security is done.

New paradigms (such as Agile and SecDevOps thinking) in development, deployment and delivery requires to be imaginative in order to fit security requirements without being the classical “stopper”.
