He did his Ph.D at Stanford in Information Systems and Statistics, and subsequently Stanford Business School. He was a fund manager at Soliton Capital, a quantitative hedge fund. He was at Funding Circle (LON: FCH), a leading Fintech platform focused on Peer to Peer (P2P) financing. He has also advised startups, with highly successful exits including, a distributed computation platform for automation of portfolio risk modelling, a specialized platform for large scale statistical computation, and a big data analytics recommendation engine.
