Fatuma Mohamed is an Energy Engineer at Grid Singularity. She is currently working in research and development on the D3A which is a blockchain based transactive energy market model that includes peer to peer approach. Her role includes creating and testing use cases under different market models, analysis of emerging business models with the introduction of peer to peer energy trading to the electricity markets and the effects of the incorporation of renewables on the electricity grid. She has a background in electrical & electronics engineering and renewable energy with a specialisation in protection, solar PV power projects, energy system modelling and energy economics. She is passionate about affordable and clean energy for all and hence a proponent of SDG 7.
