Eric Beard has vast operational experience in medical technology and patient home self care. He joined Baxter Healthcare in 1975, where he pursued an international career, principally in North America, Asia pacific and Europe. He was in charge of Baxter's renal products in various countries and regions and in 1999 asumed global responsibility for the business.

In 2001, he was appointed president of Baxter EMEA. Prior to joining Cellnovo he was with Sorin Group as President International in charge of worldwide sales and marketing.
