In March 2001, Mr. Jannotta was named Chairman of William Blair & Company, L.L.C., an international investment banking firm, and Chairman of its Executive Committee.

Mr. Jannotta joined William Blair & Company in May 1959 as an Associate, became a Partner in January 1965, Assistant Managing Partner in June 1973, Managing Partner in September 1977, Senior Partner in January 1995, and Senior Director in January 1996. He is a Life Trustee of the University of Chicago and Chairman Emeritus of the Board of the Lyric Opera of Chicago.

Mr. Jannotta is a Director of Molex Incorporated and Commonwealth Edison Company, and was a Director of Bandag, Incorporated during the last five years. He serves as a member of the Finance Committee and the Organization and Compensation Committee of our Board of Directors.
