Tecogen welcomed Lewis to the Board of Directors in 2014. Lewis brings a unique combination of experience with operations, international sales and an understanding of the public equity markets. He has demonstrated knowledge of how to manage a business through rapid growth and increasing profitability.

Lewis presently serves as Chairman of the Board of Harvard Bio Science. From 2000 to 2013, Mr. Lewis served as Chairman, CEO and President of FLIR Systems Inc., a company Forbes several times rated in The Top 200 Best Small Companies. He continues to serve as Chairman of the Board.

Lewis served for many years as a top level executive at Thermo Electron Inc. companies, including Thermo Instrument Systems, Themo Optek Corp. and Themo Jarrell Ash Corp. Lewis is a Trustee of Clarkson University.

Lewis holds a B.S. in Technology from Clarkson College and has studied Management at Harvard University and Northeastern University.

Lewis’s success managing tech companies and his experience serving as a chairman or director on the boards of several companies qualify him to be a member of our Board of Directors in light of our business and structure.
