Doug Johnson is Director of Sales for North America and Europe for NexPlanar. He is responsible for developing and managing strategic accounts and new business development leading to design qualifications and sales. Doug brings to NexPlanar broad experience in international business and general management to effectively serve the needs of our semiconductor customers.

Doug has more than 17 years of experience with leading suppliers of materials to the semiconductor industry. Prior to joining NexPlanar, Doug developed and managed strategic accounts including probe-card manufacturers and IDMs, and provided optimized solutions for wafer level and final device semiconductor test. Prior to working for Multitest, Doug held various sales and engineering leadership positions over a 14-year period for Dow Electronic Materials, the global leader in chemical mechanical planarization of computer chips. Doug's early work in engineering at Rodel and at Rohm and Haas-both of which became part of Dow-focused on continuous-improvement initiatives, introducing robust processes into high-volume manufacturing, and serving as the key technology link between customers and manufacturing. During the second half of his Dow career, Doug managed key relationships and all sales activities for multiple top-ten accounts worldwide.

Doug has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University.
