Derek Davis was appointed Vice President, Global Integration effective June 2015. He has direct responsibility for the oversight and management of integration activities following the merger of Zimmer and Biomet.
Mr. Davis served as Vice President, Finance and Corporate Controller and Chief Accounting Officer of the Company from May 2007 until June 2015. He joined the Company (then Zimmer) in 2003, and has held positions of increasing responsibility since that time, including Director of Operations Finance and Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and Corporate Accounting. Prior to joining Zimmer, Mr. Davis served as Vice President, Finance and Corporate Controller for International Wire and as Senior Financial Analyst for Phelps Dodge Corporation. He has more than 15 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, planning and analysis, cost accounting and operations management. Mr. Davis holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and an MBA from Indiana University and is a CPA.
