David Tognotti leads strategic partnerships at Google. Previously, Tognotti was the COO of iBeat, Inc., a provider of a smartwatch that uses artificial intelligence to detect health issues and alert emergency services. Prior to that, he was the chief operating officer of RetailNext, a provider of in-store analytics IOT and SaaS solutions using the latest in computer vision and deep learning technology. Prior to that, Tognotti was the chief operating officer of [3D Robotics](https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/3d-robotics#/entity), an open-source UAV technology company that manufactures electronics and aerial vehicles. He is also a senior advisor to Dita Eyewear.

Previously, Tognotti served Monster Cable Products in the same capacity as at 3D Robotics. He was a senior corporate counsel and associate general counsel at Metricom and IP Infusion respectively.

Tognotti holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of San Francisco and a Juris Doctor degree in law from the University of San Francisco, School of Law.
