David Strasser is currently a Managing Director in Equity Research (Retail Sector) at Janney Montgomery Scott LLC and is a senior partner in Dexter Park Investors, a private equity firm.Previously, he worked as a Managing Director at Bank of America Securities covering retail stocks (Hardline/Broadline Retailing) and also has experience with Shearson Lehman, I Can’t Believe It’s Yogurt, Citigroup, and Andor Capital. He was a founding partner of Moda Partners, a Retail/Consumer hedge fund. David appears frequently as an expert on CNBC, Bloomberg Television, and other media.David received his undergraduate degree from the Cornell University of Hotel Administration and his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He formerly served as Advisor to the YLC Junior Board.David was on the board of the Andor Capital Charitable Trust, whose mandate was to give away returns to September 11th causes after inadvertently profiting from a negative investment thesis as a result of the market downturn after 9/11. David has actively worked with Seeds of Peace graduates to try and maintain involvement of Seeds as they progress in their careers. He sits on the nominating committee.
