David brings over 20 years of sales leadership in enterprise technology to his current role as Chief Revenue Officer of Act-On Software. Starting his high-tech sales career at Oracle and having run and led sales teams for various stage businesses – from pre-revenue to $100M+, David has a solid track record of successfully building and scaling worldwide sales, services, and business development teams. Prior to joining Act-On, David held the position of Chief Customer Officer at PubNub, where he oversaw all customer facing activities and mastered the human-side of technology. David joined PubNub from Good Technology where he grew America’s sales from $20M to $150M in under three years. Prior to Good Technology, David ran worldwide sales at several companies including newScale Corp, NightFire Software and Clarify. David is an active mentor to burgeoning sales leaders and has held advisor roles for companies such as Groupswim and Yammer. He holds a BA degree in History from University of California, Berkeley and graduated as a member of Phi Beta Kappa honorary fraternity.
