Dave Rosenberg is senior director of investment strategy leading development of next generation cloud services for the Invention Development Fund at Intellectual Ventures. In this role he leads a global team of inventors, engineers, and technical professionals to construct and monetize an IP portfolio of next generation hardware and software.

Prior to joining Intellectual Ventures, Rosenberg was CEO and founder of Nodeable, a real-time data analytics platform acquired in 2012 by mobile platform provider Appcelerator.

Previously, he was CEO and co-founder of open source middleware provider MuleSoft, CIO of financial services research firm GlassLewis and principal analyst for the Open Source Development Labs (now The Linux Foundation). He's held technical and marketing roles at Sprint, OmniSky, NorthPoint Communications, Lucent Technologies and Bell Labs.

Rosenberg is extensively quoted and published. He contributes regularly to leading industry and business publications, including CNET, BusinessWeek, InfoWorld and The Register.

Rosenberg holds a BA from Rutgers University and an MBA from Pepperdine University. He is a U.S. patent holder and an advisor to Appcelerator, DataStax, Puppet Labs, and IT Database.
