Colin Wessells is the founding CEO at Natron Energy (formerly Alveo Energy). He cofounded Natron in 2012 with two advisors as a spin out of his PhD thesis at Stanford. At Natron, he has led the development of battery products based on Natron's unique cell chemistry. He has raised over $22 million in venture capital investment in Natron. He also served as principal investigator for two ARPA-E awards totaling $4.6 million. He holds PhD, MS, and BS degrees from Stanford in materials science and engineering.
