Charlie is a Data Specialist at Amazon where they work to improve the customer experiences with Alexa enabled devices. In addition to their interests in investigating trends, data analytics, and learning new technical skills, they are passionate about helping others with their career goals within and outside of academia.

Charlie has a PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh. Their PhD research focused on second language learning and word meaning ambiguity. Prior to their position at Amazon, they were a visiting lecturer at the University of Pittsburgh.

In their spare time, Charlie enjoys entertaining their two rescue dogs and playing trivia and board games with friends.
