Caro Rossi has been a fundamental anchor of the growth of the startup and entrepreneurial ecosystem in Latin America in this last decade. She was Harvard Social Venture Fellow (2009) Later, she became a lead member of the first team that created and managed the successful public policy Start-Up Chile (with a portfolio valuation of over $US 1.4 billion and more than 1,000 entrepreneurs founded) as Director of Business Development and Social Impact. In 2015, she founded the first Chilean carpooling company, (which received an investment of the original investors of Netflix and Guitar Hero), she ended up becoming a short-term consultant at World Bank, Smart City Department of transportation of Chile and decided to put all her energy into creating the biggest community of innovators of Latin America with the power of Rock: InnovaRock ( A community of more than 40K innovators).With a background in strategic communications and journalism, is author of the book: “Strategic Communication: Seven cases to reflect” and has become one of the strongest voices in the region - as a columnist, radio host and coach- for thousands of entrepreneurs. As part of her business background, she specializes in understanding and building innovative ecosystems as well as is mentor & and juror for different organizations around the World.Today she is one of the TOP 20 Global Mentor for Redbull Innovation Basecamp, a member of the board of directors as WSA (Salzburg, Austria), a Judge and mentor at StartUp Chile, and runs a consultancy firm from her beloved Rome, where she is also an MBA candidate.
