Before joining BetterCloud, Carlos worked at SunTrust in numerous security leadership positions. His most recent role was as SunTrust’s SVP for Secure Design & Engineering where he was responsible for ensuring all SunTrust technology was built and deployed securely. Carlos also worked for General Electric based out of Paris, France, where he led Product Security for GE's Power Conversion business.

Carlos holds a BS in Criminal Justice from Georgia State University, and possesses numerous cyber security certifications, including the CISSP, CSSLP, and CISM.
