Callum is the Global Solutions Architect for Amazon Studios. Coming from a traditional IT background, first as a Unix and Linux administrator and then as a senior engineer with VMware and then Amazon Web Services, Callum has been at the forefront of disruptive technology for almost 20 years. Focusing now on the challenges faced by Amazon Studios and its’ partners, he spends he days dreaming up ways to solve problems such as ever-increasing file sizes, more sophisticated security threats and of course, ever shrinking timelines. When he’s not scratching his head and looking perplexed, he’s usually out riding his Harley Davidson in the rain or hitting something with a hammer (he does a lot of home building projects!).
