Brett Zbar, MD, serves as a Partner of Aisling Capital, a leading private equity firm that invests in life science companies developing biopharmaceutical products and creates businesses based on advanced life science technologies. He is active in investments in development-stage biopharmaceutical companies, as well as later-stage investments. Previously, he was an Associate Principal at McKinsey & Company and a senior member of the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Products practice. Before joining McKinsey, he trained on the Osler Internal Medicine Service at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

He received an MD from Harvard Medical School and a BA from Yale College.
