With over 15 years of experience in artificial intelligence, I have been a senior technical executive with broad-spectrum expertise in leading various ventures – from Artificial Intelligence (AI) startups to AI divisions of Fortune 500 companies. With my research scientists, research engineers, engineering directors/managers, I have created commercially viable products in widespread verticals:

Business verticals: Retail, Warehousing, Health, Telecommunication and Insurance
Horizontal technologies: Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing and Reinforcement Learning
Cloud vendors: Microsoft Azure and AWS with PaaS and IaaS versions of Kubernetes, NoSQL/SQL, Streaming, OAuth 2.0 security for REST/RPC microservices, data-lake, etc.

Technical background: Over the years, I have published mainly in high impact factor journals, machine learning, computer vision and theoretical neuroscience conferences (NIPS, CoSyNe, SfN, etc.) and a variety of associated workshops (in ICLR, AAAI, KDD, IJCAI/ECAI, ICML, ICCV, IROS, ICDM, etc.). I have been the two-time recipient of the Dorothy Hodgkin Fellowship, Wellcome Trust early career fellowship, Max Planck Society fellowship, EPSRC’s Science2020 fellowship, fellowship at Sir Issac Newton Institute in Cambridge (and others) as well as a variety of grants from ESF, EMBO, GSK, Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds, Royal Academy of Engineering, nVidia, etc.
