Bharat is the Operating Partner at Sequoia Capital.

Prior to being an Operating Partner, he was a CFO at Sequoia Capital India Advisors. He took care of the finance function at Sequoia Capital in India and helps the portfolio companies in strategic finance initiatives. Prior to joining Sequoia, he was the CFO of redBus, where he drove the redBus sale process. Before joining redBus, he worked with GE for eleven years, where he worked in various GE businesses ranging from GE Healthcare to GE Oil & Gas, GE Capital to GE Life and Health Insurance, in assignments ranging from M&A, FP&A to streamlining business processes. In his last role in GE, he was CFO of GE-SBI credit card joint venture. He is a graduate of GE?s leadership program, FMP & CAS. Bharat is a qualified Chartered Accountant and CPA.
