Bernie Zeisig is a Managing Partner at Mistral and brings over 20 years of venture investing experience and 30 years of company building experience in both the United States and Canada. He has participated in over 60 rounds of financing and has built a proven, trusted network for deal flow, deal management and realization.

Most recently, Bernie was a Senior Managing partner at Cycle Capital where he led the team’s investment focus and strategy, and led a number of investments in the Clean -Tech sector including American Aerogel, Energate Inc., and LED Roadway lighting.

Previously, Bernie was a Senior Partner at VIMAC Ventures. He joined VIMAC in 1998 and led VIMAC's efforts in developing the firm’s Canadian franchise. By 2001, the firm was the most active US-based venture investor in Canada.

Bernie is a frequent speaker on cross-border investment issues and has often advised on policy matters. Bernie holds BAs in Economics from both Carleton University, Canada and Université de Chambery, France, and an MSc in Entrepreneurial Studies from Stirling University, Stirling Scotland.
