Dr. Deucher is a board-certified pathologist with specialty training in hematopathology and molecular genetic pathology. Dr. Deucher received her M.D. and Ph.D. (biochemistry) from Case Western Reserve University, did her residency training at the University of California at San Francisco, and completed fellowships in hematopathology at the University of California at San Francisco and molecular genetic pathology at Stanford University. In addition to her work at Invitae, she is an assistant professor in the department of laboratory medicine at the University of California at San Francisco.
