Prior to joining Avalara, Alesia served as an operational and legal executive for private and publicly traded companies. Her broad background includes leadership positions in legal, accounting, and operations.

Additionally, Alesia has deep experience managing public offerings and private financings, as well as mergers, acquisitions and strategic transactions. She has served as general counsel of InfoSpace, Inc., and drugstore.com and also practiced law at Perkins Coie, LLP. Alesia began her career as a certified public accountant at Deloitte Haskins and Sells.
