Agrolend was born to revolutionize the agribusiness sector for small and medium size farmers in Brazil, giving them access to sustainable credit that is needed to finance the development of their production and incentivize investment in equipment/technology. We expect to help farmers to increase their productivity and profitability.

Using cutting edge technology and an innovative credit analysis, Agrolend will provide loans without any physical guarantees such as farms or grains. Our target is to avoid the slowness of the traditional banking system as this is a major problem for farmers looking for additional credit.

* Experienced Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst (buy-side & sell-side) with a demonstrated history of working in the investment management industry and a solid track record.

* In-depth knowledge of commodities, with a relevant experience analyzing companies in the following sectors: metals & mining, pulp & paper, oil & gas, protein producers, and soft commodities.

* Strong international experience, worked in Singapore for almost 4 years, lead more than 20 international roadshows (Asia, US and Europe) as a sell-side research analyst and studied for 0.5 year in New York.

* Developed complex financial models (strong understanding of financial statements) and valuations for the equity/debt of listed/unlisted companies in Latin America.

* Solid knowledge of the Brazilian macroeconomic environment, and developed macroeconomic/political analysis in Latin America

* Professional with a strong network in Brazil, with seniority to interact/discuss business strategies with C-level executives and raise capital with potential investors.

* In the most recent experience with Trafalgar, successfully managed a portfolio of corporate bonds in Latin America ( Bloomberg - TRBRITB KY ) and a local feeder fund ( offshore fund swapped into R$ )

* Mechatronics engineer with a degree from the prestigious University of Sao Paulo (POLI – USP), CFA charterholder since 2011, and holder of the CGA – ANBIMA license (authorized by CVM to be a portfolio manager).
