Stripe Launches Two Options for Fiat-to-Crypto Onramp: Embeddable Widget and Stripe-Hosted

May 5 (Cointime) - Global payments giant Stripe has launched a fiat-to-crypto onramp to make it easier for Web3 companies to help their US-based customers purchase cryptocurrency, according to a blog post.

Stripe now offers two implementation options for its onramp:

The first is an embeddable onramp, which allows developers to insert a crypto-purchasing widget directly into their own website or app with just 10 lines of code.

The second is a Stripe-hosted onramp at crypto.link.com, to which companies can direct their US-based customers with no code required.

"The embeddable onramp is helpful for Web3 companies that want to fully customize the branding and customer experience, while the Stripe-hosted option provides an even easier way for users to get started." the firm stated.
