Sentiment Offers $95K Reward to Hackers for Return of Stolen Assets

CertiK has issued an alert regarding a recent hack targeting Sentiment. As per the tweet, Sentiment has sent a message to the hacker, offering a reward of $95,000 if the stolen assets are returned by 8 AM UTC on April 6th. 

In our earlier report, PeckShield, a blockchain security firm, confirmed the total loss to be approximately $1 million. They identified the root cause as the read-only reentrancy of Balancer and provided a link to the related transaction on the Arbitrum blockchain, where Sentiment's DeFi platform operates.

If the assets are not returned by the specified deadline, the reward will be given to anyone who can provide valuable information leading to the identification of the hacker and the recovery of the stolen assets.

"To the hacker: we will offer you $95k and will not pursue this, if you return the money by 8am utc 6 April. To everyone else: if the hacker has not returned the funds by the above time, we will give any person that same $95k if you help us find and prosecute the person responsible for this theft." read the message.
