Earlier today, the layer-2 scaling solution Polygon reportedly suffered from an outage, screenshot shows Polygon has not processed a block in over an hour and a half.
In a reply to a user's question on missing transactions, Polygon clarified that the issue is because "a few nodes went out of sync". "Nodes have resynced and systems are back to normal". Polygon added.
~8:26 UTC, a few nodes went out of sync. This caused a reaction where some nodes couldn't validate blocks for a short time. Block production never stopped, However, there could have been a temp degradation in network performance. Nodes have resynced and systems are back to normal

The reports were greatly exaggerated, however: Polygon has not experienced any outages in processing blocks. Blockchain explorer Polygonscan was not updating correctly. According to OKLINK, Polygon has continued to produce blocks.
Polygon network has previously suffered network outages, with the last occurring on Mar. 11, 2022 due to maintenance required on one of the network's three layers.
