3. AR/AO Roundtable – AO Developer Q&A and Discussion
Since the release of the AO testnet, we have observed that developers have encountered various technical issues. Last Wednesday, PermaDAO collected some common questions and invited veteran developers within the ecosystem to help resolve them. The main questions are summarized as follows:
Q1: AO is particularly suited for running various AI agents that offer services and collaborate to complete complex tasks. In this ecosystem, agents often need automated payment and transaction capabilities to ensure efficient workflow. Is there currently a solution in the AO ecosystem to support payments for AI agent services?
Q2: I’ve been trying to run a few examples from the ffp-demo locally, but I keep encountering issues that prevent the programs from running. Could a live demonstration or video tutorial be provided as a reference?
Q3: When using the
method, a feature in AO 2.0, I am able to send messages with receive()
’s aoConnect
function. However, I can’t seem to receive a response withmessage
result
. What’s the best way to resolve this?
Q4: What are the differences between setting up a local MU and running a program on a personal server? Are there tutorials available?
