One of the founders of the NFT marketplace Blur, Tieshun Roquerre, who goes by the name "Pacman" online, has doxxed himself, revealing his true identity after users began piecing it together earlier this week.

According to Pacman, he is a 24-year-old who previously dropped out of high school to go through the Y Combinator startup accelerator at the age of 17. He studied Math with Computer Science at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), then quit after receiving the Thiel Fellowship --- a fellowship created by billionaire Peter Thiel which is intended for students aged 22 or younger and offers them a total of $100,000 over two years. Pacman then founded Namebase, a crypto domain startup that he sold to Namecheap for $5 million within three years.
As for why he chose to stay pseudo, Pacman said "being pseudo gave me optionality to doxx later on", and "It's hard to say no to free options" , he added.
“At this point, Pacman is synonymous with my own identity, and the name is much easier to pronounce than my IRL name. I’ll continue to refer to myself as Pacman and using my VTuber for calls.” Pacman said, referring to his 2D anime-style digital avatar.
