Beeple, whose real name is Mike Winkelmann, is a digital artist and graphic designer known for his pioneering work in the field of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). He is perhaps best known for selling a single NFT artwork titled "Everydays: The First 5000 Days" at a Christie's auction in March 2021 for a record-breaking $69.3 million, which made him one of the most valuable living artists. Beeple's art often incorporates elements of pop culture, technology, and social commentary, and he has been creating and sharing digital art every day since May 2007. His work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and festivals around the world, and he continues to push the boundaries of what is possible with NFTs and digital art.
Beeple has collaborated with Yuga Labs on several occasions. In November 2021, Beeple created a series of Bored Ape Yacht Club-themed NFTs called "Bored Ape Kennel Club" (BAKC), which featured his signature style and included a range of unique and visually striking designs.
