April 19 (Cointime) - Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken announced that it has successfully registered with the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) as a Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP), the license will allow the firm to operate in Iceland legally.
Kraken said in a blog post that the approval shows that it adheres to strict anti-money laundering and terrorism financing rules and added that the license is proof of its robust compliance.
