April 16 (Cointime) - Tesla and Twitter chief Elon Musk warns AI’s potential to destroy civilization. 

According to a Nevada filing obtained by The Verge, Elon Musk founded a new artificial intelligence-focused company called X.AI on March 9th, 2023.

Musk has expressed concerns about the potential dangers of AI. During an interview with FOX, he noted that AI has the potential to be more hazardous than mismanaged aircraft design or production maintenance. He stated:

“However small one may regard that probability, but it is non-trivial - it has the potential of civilizational destruction.”

Today Musk reiterated his strong endorsement of his statement, he tweeted:

“Anyone who thinks this risk is 0% is an idiot.”
