May 7 (Cointime) - Decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol DEUS declared that they will not pursue legal actions if the stolen funds are returned. Furthermore, DEUS emphasized that the incident will be regarded as a "white hat rescue," and that 20% of the retrieved funds will be granted as a bug bounty.
Yesterday, Cointime reported that over $6 million worth of DEI, a stablecoin of DEUS was stolen in a hack.
The team also confirmed that the multisig address on the Binance Chain, which will hold the returned assets, is under the control of the DEUS team. The team will make a public confirmation upon receiving the funds.
