Responding to rumors circulating about his alleged plans to purchase CNN, Georgia-based multinational media outlet, Charles Hoskinson, founder of IOHK and Cardano, stated in a tweet today that he could neither confirm nor deny the speculations.

Hoskinson was replying to a statement made by Ross Calvin, the entrepreneur and founder of Parhelion Digital. Ross Calvin asserted that Charles Hoskinson was initiating a joint venture to explore the possibility of acquiring CNN and had even inquired with billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk about participating in the venture. Given his acquisition of Twitter and his history of supporting free speech, Musk was seen as a potential partner in the venture.
