Binance is upgrading its wallet infrastructure to enhance the efficiency and security of its users' funds.
As a result, in an announcement on April 18, the exchange said that selected deposit addresses and memos will be retired in batches according to the network. Impacted users will receive email notifications in batches and are encouraged to obtain a new address and memo upon receiving the notification. Please note that only impacted users who receive notifications from Binance are required to get a new deposit address and memo before the expiry date.
The expiry date of old deposit addresses will be stated in the notification, and funds deposited into expired addresses are safe and can be manually credited via the "Transaction History" page. Deposits made into expired deposit addresses will not be automatically credited.
To obtain a new deposit address and memo, users can log into their Binance accounts on the Binance app or website.
