PermaHacks, an online hackathon hosted by Weavers, featured 7 bounty tasks supported by AO and various ecosystem projects, with a total prize pool of $22,500.

After two weeks of building and brainstorming, developers submitted their MVPs (Minimum Viable Products). Now, let’s take a quick look at each winning project.

Everlink

Everlink is a decentralized link management platform on Arweave, similar to Linktree. Users can choose from various templates to add social links and create a personalized page.

Powered by the ArNS, users can set up a unique .ar subdomain to showcase important links, social accounts, and personal info. Page is stored permanently and supports one-click sharing to X and other social media.

Future plans for Everlink include adding social features, paid subscriptions, and tipping functions to help creators monetize their content.

Qpay

Qpay is a customer-facing decentralized payment app that uses $qAR for fast, secure transactions on the AO network. It operates via an invoice system, with each invoice containing transaction and payment details for transparent record-keeping.

Users can pay by scanning a QR code, making interactions quick and easy. Currently, Qpay’s wallet feature is under development and doesn’t yet support signature integration. Future updates aim to enhance security and convenience in payments.

Qbit-pay

Qbit-pay is a decentralized payment solution on AO inspired by Solana Pay, providing a secure and transparent payment experience using $qAR. It’s tailored for digital goods and services within the AO ecosystem.

By integrating qbit-sdk, Qbit-pay generates payment URLs containing transaction details, converting them into QR codes. Users scan the QR code with the Qbit-pay browser extension to complete payments through the ArConnect wallet.

Secretorium

Secretorium is a decentralized collaborative secret manager on AO, designed for secure team collaboration, enabling safe sharing of sensitive information like passwords and API keys. With a registration flow and key-value storage, the platform’s Access Control List (ACL) ensures only authorized users can view specific data.

In short, Secretorium is a reliable tool for teams to manage and share sensitive information in a decentralized environment.

Iris

Iris is a decentralized short video platform on WeaveVM, similar to TikTok, allowing creators to post short videos and receive tips. All content is stored on Arweave, with each video minted as an NFT, making it tradable and transferable.

Users can create channels, post videos, like, comment, and tip creators using TWVM tokens, with creators able to withdraw tips. Iris provides a decentralized platform for creators to retain content ownership and enhance user engagement, giving users tradable video assets.

WeaveMint

WeaveMint is an Arweave-based NFT minting platform providing efficient, gasless NFT creation, with all NFT data permanently stored on Arweave.

Using WeaveVM’s ERC721 factory contract, WeaveMint allows users to create batch NFTs following the ERC721 standard. Additionally, with Livepeer AI integration, users can generate images by entering a text prompt, removing the need for manual uploads.

Better IDEa Copilot and Composer

Better IDEa Copilot and Composer is an AI-powered smart coding tool within BetterIDEa, an online programming platform. It’s designed to improve coding efficiency by providing inline auto-completions when users press the Tab key. The tool also features a chat interface for real-time AI assistance, offering code analysis, snippet generation, and complete code solutions.
