June 27 (Cointime) - Zug, Switzerland has been ranked as the top location for cryptocurrency-related companies and events, as well as having a favorable regulatory structure and high quality of life, according to CoinDesk's Crypto Hubs 2023 rubric. Known as "Crypto Valley" and the birthplace of Ethereum, Zug is an attractive location for crypto start-ups due to its clear regulatory framework.

While Zug may not be the ideal location for finding developer talent, it remains a peaceful and convenient location with easy access to banks and venture capitalists. The author notes that while the vibe of crypto meet-ups in Zug has shifted towards regulatory compliance and partnerships with banks, this is a sign of maturity in the Swiss crypto industry.
