Christopher Maurice, the founder of Yellow Card, a cryptocurrency platform in Africa, stated that USDT on Tron is one of the most popular cryptocurrencies among African users. Many Africans prefer to use stablecoins pegged to the US dollar (such as Tether) on low-cost networks like Tron to avoid domestic inflation.
