World Liberty Financial Invests $3 Million in Mantle Tokens Despite Portfolio Losses

World Liberty Financial (WLFI) has expanded its holdings in Mantle by acquiring 3.54 million MNT tokens at an average price of $0.84 per token using USDT. This recent purchase adds to WLFI's total of 5.98 million MNT tokens, valued at around $5 million. Despite facing significant unrealized losses in its broader cryptocurrency portfolio, WLFI continues to actively acquire assets, including MNT, AVAX, ETH, and WBTC.

The investment in Mantle tokens has led to a slight increase in MNT's price by 7.3% and a surge in trading volume by 72.7%. However, WLFI's overall portfolio has seen a decline, with a total investment of $346 million resulting in a current value of $234.6 million and an unrealized loss of $111.4 million. Analysts are closely monitoring WLFI's investment strategy and future moves amid these losses and market challenges.
