While mainstream adoption of Web3 has focused on improving ease of use, Web3 UI/UX designer 0xDesigner argues that certain properties of blockchain make it challenging to build easy-to-use Web2-like applications.
One of the main issues with cryptocurrency applications is that every action is irreversible, with no "undo button" on the blockchain, making mistakes expensive. Web3 UI/UX designers are limited in their ability to create easy-to-use applications due to the need to show all steps for a user to achieve an action and retain the value proposition of Web3.
