Recently, Web3 influencer Andrew Wang promoted an NFT collection called Pixel Penguins, which was suspected to be a scam, causing backlash towards Wang and others involved. Wang admitted to promoting the fraudulent project and apologized for misleading his followers, highlighting the need for individual due diligence when investing in NFTs.
