June 21 (Cointime) - A wallet potentially connected to funds stolen from the now-defunct darknet marketplace Silk Road has made a small bitcoin transaction, leading to speculation that it could be the U.S. government moving seized bitcoin.
The wallet, which has been linked to a previous forfeiture of Silk Road funds, moved 10 BTC to one wallet and 1,490 BTC to a change wallet. However, it is unclear whether the funds are in the possession of the U.S. government, and the movement of the bitcoin has raised some unusual signs.
