Lawmakers in the US and UK are set to hold high-profile hearings on June 13 to discuss the need for cryptocurrency regulation. The UK Parliament will debate the findings of the Crypto and Digital Assets All-Party Parliamentary Group report, while the House Committee on Financial Services in the US will hold a hearing on the future of digital assets and their regulation.

These discussions come as the cryptocurrency industry faces increasing regulatory scrutiny, with the SEC recently filing lawsuits against major exchanges Binance and Coinbase. The debates may provide further insight into the future direction of cryptocurrency regulation and push the discussions more visibly into the public eye.
