Along with the EOS Network Foundation, a community-led, not-for-profit organization that manages public-goods financing and assistance to stimulate the expansion of the EOS Network, metaverse app Upland is launching its second hackathon, where Web2 and Web3 developers are welcome to offer new games and experiences utilizing Upland assets.
Teams may register for the Hackathon until May 12, with submissions due by May 26. Finalists will be chosen on May 28, with the final presentation and awards ceremony on June 9 during Upland’s annual Genesis Week Conference at the Sahara Casino and Resort in Las Vegas.
This year’s Upland Hackathon aims to inspire developers to build metaverse-changing experiences that are both one-of-a-kind and community-driven. Developers might take three distinct paths: 1. Metaverse Innovation Track; 2. FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 (FWWC23) Track; and 3. Design Track. The top ideas will get cash awards and the opportunity to participate in Upland’s post-hackathon incubator.
