Union Investment, Germany’s third-largest asset management company, launches fund focused on blockchain technology

Union Investment, the third largest asset management company in Germany, launched a fund called UniThemen Blockchain. UniThemen Blockchain invests globally in companies that develop or use blockchain, distributed ledger technology (DLT), or digital asset innovation technology. The fund can purchase international stocks and bonds at the same time, and indirectly invest up to 15% of the fund's assets through encrypted currency certificates.
