July 5 (Cointime) - Two 17-year-olds have been charged with stealing $4.2 million worth of cryptocurrency from an American man, according to Hamilton police. The teens had more than $13.4 million in cryptocurrency and used some of the stolen money to buy online usernames. They use phishing attacks to impersonate cryptocurrency exchanges to gain access to victims' investment portfolios. Police have arrested and charged the two teenagers with theft and possession of criminal property.
