Trust Wallet Adds Support for Meme-Inspired Cryptocurrency PEPE as Coin Gains Attention

PEPE coin, a meme-inspired cryptocurrency, has gained significant attention after surging over 21,000X. Trust Wallet, owned by Binance and one of the most well-known crypto wallets, recently added support for PEPE as the coin trended highly on social media.

According to Coinmarketcap, PEPE has a market cap of $143 million, a 24-hour trading volume of $155 million, and a current value of $0.000000330053, with a 274% increase in the past 24 hours. However, blockchain security firm PeckShieldAlert has cautioned against a fake Twitter account and website of Pepe Coin, confirming the account as fraudulent and the link as a phishing site.

Charlie, a well-known cryptocurrency enthusiast who previously forecasted the SHIB rally, recently tweeted that "PEPE was the next Shiba Inu," indicating that PEPE could pursue a similar trajectory as SHIB.
